Set is in quotes because they’re from different brands but I love pieces that are incredibly versatile and this top and bottom are exactly that (plus can truly be worn all four seasons). I’ve styled each piece multiple ways— the top from Frank and Eileen looks great with jeans, leggings, sweats, shorts, you name it! And the bottoms from Gap have discreet piping down the front which makes them feel a bit dressier, but of course still feel like sweats. Pair with a white tee, cream sweater, cardigan, or whatever your heart desires!
This outfit works because obviously the color is the same, but there’s subtle piping on both the sleeves and the pants, creating a cohesive look. It’s also a great mix of high/low and a perfect example of how investing in quality items can elevate the whole look. You don’t need to pay full price for the top though! I got it for a great price on Poshmark and there are lots of options on there. I love that it’s 100% cotton and made in California. Plus there are so many special details from the cut of the fabric to the raw finish at the sleeves and the funnel neck…definitely a regrettably worth it item. And Gap is always running sales, so definitely wait for a discount on the bottoms.
I’m wearing my Rothy house slippers in the picture, but usually wear my New Balances when out and about.
